Gratitude is a must…Blessings
RESART…Chemotherapy resumed yesterday!
Hive situation is under control and Spa treatment is back in swing; Cold packs applied to my hands and feet, Chemotherapy & Steroid Cocktail for hive management. The Ice machine was broken so no actual ice wraps…but it was FABULOUS!
Please consider donating through my GoFundMe. Your generosity enables access to advanced treatments not covered by my health insurance; broadening my care possibilities. With resilience and hope, I move forward, thankful for your encouragement and kindness.

I am Blessed, Highly Favored and in Supreme Divine Health!
Feeling Great…Feeling Good…Nina Simone Style.
Today, I visited Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Ralph Lauren Center for vitals, labs, and my monthly oncologist appointment. However, my oncologist suspended chemotherapy treatment due to allergic reactions I have been experiencing. I have been referred to an allergist at MSK, with an appointment scheduled for Thursday, October 3, 2024. Following this consultation, my treatment plan will be evaluated and adjusted accordingly.
Thankfully, my health insurance covers all of my chemotherapy treatment costs. Unfortunately, it does not cover the cost of additional innovative therapies I would like to explore once I am done with chemotherapy. Donations through my GoFundMe will expand my treatment options, ensuring I have access to the best possible care. Your support will bridge the financial gap, offering hope for improved outcomes and the possibility for enhancing the quality of my life. With unwavering resilience, I embrace life, grateful for your support, encouragement, and generosity.

New Chapter: Chemotherapy [Paclitaxel/Abraxane] Day 35
September 18, 2024
My right eye surgery to remove the oil from my previous Vitrectomy Surgery is done, and I’m recovering well. I have an air bubble in my right eye, which should dissipate in a few days. Thankfully, this is a normal part of the healing process. Once the air bubble is gone, my team and I will assess the next steps for addressing the cataract and possibly optimizing my vision.
Today, I experienced a triple treat therapy consisting of chemotherapy, acupuncture, and ice therapy. Chemotherapy targeted my cancer, while acupuncture helped alleviate side effects like fatigue. The ice therapy involves placing ice-filled cold therapy wraps on my hands and feet, which were provided by my exceptional care team at Memorial Sloan Kettering's Ralph Lauren Center. The ice therapy reduces the risk of neuropathy, a common chemotherapy side effect that can cause nerve damage, numbness, and tingling in hands and feet. Despite the challenges of Stage 4 cancer, I remain committed to fighting for every precious moment.
As I continue on this journey, I kindly ask for your financial support for cancer treatment not covered by my health insurance. Donations through my GoFundMe will help expand my treatment options, providing access to innovative therapies beyond my current financial means. These groundbreaking options offer hope for improved outcomes and enhanced quality of life. With unwavering determination and gratitude, I move forward, fueled by hope and the knowledge that every donation brings me closer to exploring new possibilities.

As I begin my second cycle of chemotherapy, I'm marking a new phase in my journey. While I'm experiencing hair loss, I remain determined to stay positive and push through the challenges ahead. My current chemotherapy is covered by insurance, but I'm eager to explore additional innovative treatments that can aid in my progress. Unfortunately, these groundbreaking therapies aren't covered by insurance, which is why I've started my GoFundMe campaign. By contributing to my campaign, you'll be helping me access potentially life-changing treatments.
Up next, this Friday, I'll undergo eye surgery to remove the oil from my previous Vitrectomy Surgery. I'm hoping this will improve my vision, but I'm aware that the outcome is uncertain. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and I'm learning to embrace the unknown. Thank you for your support. Please consider donating to my GoFundMe campaign to help me continue my fight against cancer.
